Results

In a full-court-press PR campaign, Boscobel worked with Acquisition Solutions to draw attention to the company’s desire for nationwide expansion of service locations and offerings.

Boscobel publicized key events, such as the opening of new locations across the country, to underscore the company’s successes. In addition, the Boscobel team worked with Acquisition Solutions' subject matter experts to place bylined articles in key publications, strengthening the company’s presence and thought leadership in the market.

With the ultimate realization of Acquisition Solutions’ goals — an acquisition of their own — Boscobel designed an executed a merger and acquisition communications plan to address the two key sides of the M&A communication coin: internal audiences and external audiences.

For internal communication, Boscobel worked closely with the company’s leadership team to develop presentations, manager toolkits, call and e-mail scripts and comprehensive Frequently Asked Questions and Answers for employees. Management used these tools to communicate the details of the acquisition to all employees across the country.

External communication presented a unique challenge: Acquisition Solutions wanted this corporate transaction to make very little market impact. Boscobel developed a media announcement and then distributed it to a select group of editors. Coverage of the acquisition was both positive and minimal — a slam-dunk for this effort.

Acquisition Solutions moved smoothly through its acquisition transition, thanks to well-executed PR and M&A communications campaigns. The company went on to expand its locations and service offerings and, before long, began acquiring other companies.
